District Governor's Message

As we march closer towards the end of another school term , District 3850 will be holding simultaneous comprehension validation examinations in our adopted schools this March 12, 2010. This is to determine the level of comprehension of the students on the English and Math workbooks we have provided at the start of SY 2009-2010 as well as to gauge the efficiency of the teachers' method of instruction through the questionnaire information we shall get.

Together with my fellow Rotarians, I will be personally honoring the excellent academic performers with cash prizes and plaques of recognition for the teachers and students. Also a plaque of recognition will be awarded to the school that garners the highest average score in these subject areas.

Kudos to our students on whom we are banking on for the future of our country in leading a generation of Filipinos with dignity in the face of our nation's struggle against hunger, ill health, illiteracy and other forms of poverty. My congratulations go as well to their parents and guardians who supported their studies

My debt of gratitude goes to all Rotarians who have given their share in the continuing literacy programs of our District and beloved organization.
